STRATEGIES FOR ATTRACTING HISTORICAL HERITAGE SITES TO TOURISM

Abstract
This study explores effective strategies for integrating historical heritage sites into the tourism sector. It examines the ways in which cultural and historical monuments can be harmonized with tourism infrastructure and their role in economic and social development. Special attention is given to the preservation of heritage sites while adapting them to modern tourism demands. The research also highlights innovative approaches to engaging local communities and utilizing digital technologies and marketing tools to promote historical sites. Based on Uzbekistan’s experience, the paper discusses methods for integrating national heritage into the international tourism market. Ultimately, the study concludes that promoting historical heritage through tourism not only generates economic benefits but also plays a crucial role in preserving national identity and transmitting cultural values to future generations.
