METHODOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS FOR STRENGTHENING EXPORT POTENTIAL AS A DRIVER OF SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH

Abstract
This article examines how methodological innovations can strengthen export potential as a driver of sustainable economic growth, with a focus on Uzbekistan. Using national data for 2010–2024 and a simple regression framework, the analysis finds that a one-percentage-point rise in exports as a share of GDP increases real GDP growth by about 0.28 percentage. Cross-country comparisons with South Korea, Japan, Spain, and Brazil confirm that diversification, innovation, and strong institutions amplify the export–growth link. The results highlight the need for policies that reduce trade costs, improve logistics, and promote technology-intensive exports to secure durable and inclusive economic development.
