Abstract
This article provides an in-depth analysis of the life journey, multifaceted scholarly activities, and immeasurable contributions to world civilization made by Mirzo Ulugbek (1394–1449) — a prominent representative of the Timurid Renaissance, a great encyclopedic scholar, and statesman. The study illuminates the formation of the Samarkand scientific school, the role of the “Zij-i Jadid-i Guragan” in the development of astronomy, as well as the educational significance of the system of learning established by Ulugbek. A distinctive feature of this article is that the personal qualities of our great ancestor are interpreted as intellectual and spiritual models for the younger generation, with concrete conclusions and recommendations provided for cultivating a sense of national pride.
