THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR STUDYING THE PROCESSES OF LEGAL CONSCIOUSNESS TRANSFORMATION IN SOCIETY

Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations for studying the processes of legal consciousness transformation in society. The essence and content of legal consciousness, as well as its role in social development and the construction of a rule-of-law state, are examined. The main factors influencing the transformation of legal consciousness under the conditions of globalization, digitalization, the development of civil society institutions, and democratic reforms are identified. The study employs systemic, axiological, institutional, sociological, and synergetic approaches. The author interprets the process of legal consciousness transformation not only as an increase in legal knowledge but also as a qualitative renewal of an individual's legal values, legal culture, and legal behavior. Using the example of legal-democratic reforms implemented in Uzbekistan, the article substantiates the emergence of a new paradigm of legal consciousness.
